Assoc. Prof Priv. Doz. Dr. Claudia Weidekamm is a medical specialist for radiology and has been working at the department for neuro-radiology and musculoskeletal radiology at the University Clinic of Vienna for the past 16 years. Her focus lies on diagnostics and ultrasound-guided therapy of patients with sports injuries or rheumatic issues. Besides her valuable contribution at numerous symposia and congresses, she has been organizing the International Interdisciplinary Musculoskeletal Sonography Course in Vienna for several years and has published more than 60 scientific articles and book chapters. As the current Chair of the Department Musculoskeletal System at the Austrian Association for Ultrasound in Medicine (ÖGUM), she has developed her long-standing expertise in interventional sonography among other instances at a renowned private clinic in New Zealand.
